Orca in the Entrance, Gulf Harbour Marina

Okay, so we've got the wildlife thing going on around us at the moment....Black swans, (seagulls & sparrows), kingfish, snapper, prorori, stingrays, shrimps and sprats. 

We had another encounter the other day - a couple of orca decided to make a brief entrance in the marina, chasing sting rays around the ferry terminal then left to be observed by local boats for another hour or so outside the entrance.  Apparently they often come into the entrance and have been seen further up the marina during the winter months.
