a real ssssslow study
The kids loved do a snail study this last week. Making houses and racing the snails was a great success! There was one little snail of Freya's called “Cheesecake” that escaped (I re-named it Freedom), so we are still trying to find it somewhere on board!..... I must re-check the spinach!

wheelie cockpit fun
One of the great things about presents you receive a year ago is that when you find them again you get excited all over again and want to use them. They kids found their "Wheelies" and decided that the cockpit was a good start for them before moving to the footpaths. Blake sorted out the rail to hang onto.

The Air Conditoned Biminy - Storm Damage
Another storm that hit us (amongst most of Auckland residents) helped in shredding our biminy even more. We then had to "trim" the edges so they wouldn't keep us awake at night!
Air conditioned biminy!
Don't think I am supposed to see the rig through the biminy!
Trimming the frills!

Kingfish and Jellyfish, Gulf Harbour Marina
This morning I got woken up by kingfish again, they certainly like to bang around boat! Even the neighbours had their boat 'bashed' by the kingfish today too which was pretty exciting for them as they haven't yet experienced it until today. They were some pretty big ones there today - I never tire from watching them. After the tide changed, the huge jellyfish came in, absolutely huge tentacles on them!
